VPK and VPK Plus
Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free program aimed to prepare four-year-old children for kindergarten and build the foundation for their educational success. VPK is available to all four-year-olds born on or before September 1 who reside in Florida, regardless of family income. The state of Florida will pay for 540 hours of instruction in literacy, math, language, science and social skills. We have three VPK programs to choose from at WECC
We have consistently scored in the highest percentile of VPK scores in the county every year!
Free VPK: This class meets 9am-12pm Monday-Friday and follows the Manatee County School Calendar.
