WOODLAND ENEWS

Welcome to Woodland

Happy New Year!

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
Isaiah 43:19

Welcome to Woodland!
We are excited to invest in your life today.
Our goal is to help you know that through God we have a life of hope, purpose and joy. You are worth the investment and we want to be a church who values who God created you to be.
You Matter! We’re glad you’re here!

- Pastor Tim Passmore

Tim's January Sermon Series

Some of us have good days, and some of us have bad. Our emotions are a big part of who we are. God wants us to know that we can experience joy even in the most difficult circumstances of life. In this series, we’ll learn what God says about our emotional well-being and how we can make decisions that lead to healthy feelings. New series starts January 9! Join us in the journey.

The study uses materials from CRT/SJ founders/ advocates, critiques by credible theologians & other leaders, comparisons between its teachings & the Bible, and relevant articles describing its activities, plans & results to date.

Are you a new guest? Been visiting for a little while and ready to take the next step? Just looking to meet the staff and ask questions about the Woodland Community? Our Meet n' Greet is for you!
After you've attended Meet n’ Greet and learned the basic mission and vision of the Woodland Community, your next step is our Get Connected class. This class is a way in which you can learn about our different ministries and opportunities that we have here at Woodland.
Starting Jan 9: 9:30am class or 10:15am class
Imagine is our 4-week journey of self-discovery in how we relate to Jesus and others in our lives. We tackle 4 core topics: Testimony (A Story to Tell), Time (A Schedule to Keep), Talents (The Gifts to Use), and Treasures (The Resources to Share). Imagine happens every month!
Woodland can’t function without passionate, plugged-in people who have a heart to serve their Savior and their community.

Every Single Day in all of our ministries, people just like you, are living out their purpose and leading people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. They’re growing personally, spiritually, and in their relationships with each other. And we’re hoping you’ll consider taking the next step as a Woodland Impact Team Member alongside them!

Prayer

We have a digital prayer chalkboard for you to post prayer requests but also to view other requests that need to be lifted up. Thank you for sharing!

Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

:: EVERY DAY MATTERS
Each day is unique and a time to experience and show God's love. We believe that there can never be too much love in a community and our showing it has the potential to change a culture for the good. It happens when we live life together by encouraging one another and helping each other be who God created us to be. You Matter because you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God, the Creator of the Universe.
Because YOU MATTER to Him, YOU MATTER to us.
Our Campus is called to provide a complete experience for followers of Christ, Monday through Sunday. We love to do life with people! The Lord is in our daily walk and He determines our footsteps. And In all of it, every day, we give God glory!
That’s what Every Day Matters means to us.
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do,
do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
