Welcome to Woodland

Sunday, January 30

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
Psalm 91: 14-16

Welcome to Woodland!
We are excited to invest in your life today.
Our goal is to help you know that through God we have a life of hope, purpose and joy. You are worth the investment and we want to be a church who values who God created you to be.
You Matter! We’re glad you’re here!

- Pastor Tim Passmore

Faith & Feelings

Some of us have good days, and some of us have bad. Our emotions are a big part of who we are. God wants us to know that we can experience joy even in the most difficult circumstances of life. In this series, we’ll learn what God says about our emotional well-being and how we can make decisions that lead to healthy feelings.
New series starts January 9!  Join us in the journey.

Mission Trip information meeting:
Navajo Nation, Arizona

Leadership: Daniel Elias and Glenn McIntyre
Navajo Nation Mission Trip Informational Meeting:
Sunday, February 13th at 12:15 p.m. in the Gymnasium

Join us as we cast the vision for this mission opportunity

Trip Planned for May 28 - June 4. For years we went On-Mission to serve alongside John & Kellie Van Eyk as they have been called to minister to the community of Fort Defiance, AZ in the Navajo Nation.  They founded Rez Refuge, a non-profit organization dedicated to serve its community through youth development which is key to a long-lasting collaborative community.  We will be supporting their ongoing ministry through a construction project, outdoor community events, and join them in their weekly programs.   We could have another opportunity to be serving a ministry Across Nations with a construction project.  This will depend on the size of our team.  The cost will be between $1200-1500 per person (Including airfare, Ground transportation, Meals) and the size of the team could be up to 25-30 members.  The team will be staying on the campus of Hilltop School and will be doing the construction project(s) and programs with the Youth Center during the day and a couple of Outdoor Community Events in the evening.  If you have any questions and are interested, please reach out to Daniel Elias at daniel@gowoodland.com.
Individuals or Families are welcome!
(Minors must be accompanied by Parent(s) or Legal Guardian)

New Men's 7-Week Study

Sunday Mornings 9:30-10:30am beginning Feb 9th
Wednesday Nights 6:30-7:45pm beginning Feb 13th

Daily it’s getting more challenging to be a man. Our present culture is redefining manhood and confusing men in their pursuit of Biblical manhood. But how will you respond? What will you say and do when the world demands a response? Discover how to respond by rejecting passivity, accepting responsibility, leading courageously, loving unconditionally, living with integrity, serving humbly, and investing eternally. Let others see masculinity and manhood through the lens of Christ in your life with these seven characteristics and become a better man, husband, father, and leader. Adam Steele is leading this group study.

Join a new activity group this year!

LINK is a 6-week journey discovering all that God has for you and how the Woodland Community can partner with you in your relationship with Christ. Our First Step is a Meet N Greet, so we can get to know you, and you can get to know us!
Each day is unique and a time to experience and show God's love. We believe that there can never be too much love in a community and our showing it has the potential to change a culture for the good. It happens when we live life together by encouraging one another and helping each other be who God created us to be. You Matter because you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God, the Creator of the Universe.
Because YOU MATTER to Him, YOU MATTER to us.
Our Campus is called to provide a complete experience for followers of Christ, Monday through Sunday. We love to do life with people! The Lord is in our daily walk and He determines our footsteps. And In all of it, every day, we give God glory!
That’s what Every Day Matters means to us.
