WOODLAND ENEWS

Welcome to Woodland

Sunday, March 27

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Psalm 91:1-2

Welcome to Woodland!
We are excited to invest in your life today.
Our goal is to help you know that through God we have a life of hope, purpose and joy. You are worth the investment and we want to be a church who values who God created you to be.
You Matter! We’re glad you’re here!

New SUnday Life Group

New Class Starting Sunday, April 3

What does it look like to live with joy in a society that does not like what Christians believe, say, or do? It's tempting to grow angry, keep our heads down, retreat or just give up altogether. But this isn't the first time that God's people have had to learn how to live in a pagan world that opposes God's rule.
In this realistic yet positive book, renowned Bible teacher Alistair Begg examines the first seven chapters of Daniel to show us how to live bravely, confidently, and obediently in an increasingly secular society.
Listeners will see that God is powerful, and God is sovereign, and even in the face of circumstances that appear to be prevailing against his people, we may trust him entirely. We can be as brave as Daniel if we have faith in Daniel's God! Sign up today! Brian Smith and Adam Steele are the Leaders of this group.

Easter Weekend

Good Friday Service - April 15 @ 6:30pm

Tetelestai. Pronounced tuh-tel-uh-sty, this Greek word is one of the most important in the history of Christendom. Translated in English, “It is finished,” this phrase marks the final statement from Jesus before he breathed his last breath on the cross as recorded in John 19:30.
This year, we have an opportunity to gather as believers to worship and remember together this special moment in our faith, and rediscover The Famous Last Words Of Christ. Join us for a new unique experience service.

EASTER SERVICES- APRIL 17, 9:00AM & 10:55AM

Journey from the Garden to Glory with us this Easter! Together we will be celebrating the hope that Jesus gave us through His death and resurrection.

We will journey together through the scriptures on the days leading up to the best GLORY day ever, Easter! Join us as we will be having our first ever Good Friday Service on Friday, April 15 at 6:30pm. We will be looking at Jesus' "Famous Last Words" and searching for what He wanted us to know on the most pivotal day in history.  Then on Sunday, April 17 at 9am & 10:55am we will be celebrating EASTER. HE IS RISEN! His Glory was shown in His resurrection, and we get to live in the new life of His forgiveness!

A few important details

:: WORSHIP SERVICES
We offer two weekend services—Sunday at 9:00AM  and 10:55AM. The message is the same in both services. The worship style in  the 9:00AM service is a blended form of new & traditional worship, while the worship style at 10:55AM is more contemporary.

:: LINK
Join us on the LINK journey to discover what we believe, why we believe it, and how to show the world, with Woodland. LINK is a 6-week journey discovering all that God has for you and how the Woodland Community can partner with you in your relationship with Christ. Our First Step is a Meet N Greet, so we can get to know you, and you can get to know us!
Our Woodland Culture says: YOU MATTER.
You will hear us say this at Woodland. YOU MATTER because you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God, the Creator of the Universe. You not only matter to God but YOU MATTER to us!
We know that everyone has a story. The beauty of the gospel is that no matter what a person's life story is, Jesus has come to redeem it and give it another ending. That's why we proclaim that we will never stop telling our stories about what we have seen and heard. We are made up of very real people, from real situations in life, and together we are united for worship, discipleship, and service.

Our Woodland Culture says: EVERY DAY MATTERS.
Each day is unique and a time to experience and show God's love. Our Campus is called to provide a complete experience Monday thru Sunday. The Lord is in our daily walk and he determines our footsteps, and in all of it, EVERY DAY, we give God glory. That's what EVERY DAY MATTERS means to us.
