WOODLAND ENEWS

Welcome to Woodland

Sunday, April 10

But let the godly rejoice. Let them be glad in God’s presence.
Let them be filled with joy. Sing praises to God and to his name!
Sing loud praises to him who rides the clouds. His name is the Lord—
 rejoice in his presence!
Psalm 68: 3-4

Welcome to Woodland!
We are excited to invest in your life today.
Our goal is to help you know that through God we have a life of hope, purpose and joy. You are worth the investment and we want to be a church who values who God created you to be.
You Matter! We’re glad you’re here!

Current Series - Pastor Tim is continuing his series.

FAith & Feelings Series

Some of us have good days, and some of us have bad. Our emotions are a big part of who we are. God wants us to know that we can experience joy even in the most difficult circumstances of life. In this series, we’ll learn what God says about our emotional well-being and how we can make decisions that lead to healthy feelings. This has been a very impactful series so far. Join us in the journey!

Good Friday Service - April 15 @ 6:30pm

Tetelestai. Pronounced tuh-tel-uh-sty, this Greek word is one of the most important in the history of Christendom. Translated in English, “It is finished,” this phrase marks the final statement from Jesus before he breathed his last breath on the cross as recorded in John 19:30.
This year, we have an opportunity to gather as believers to worship and remember together this special moment in our faith, and rediscover The Famous Last Words Of Christ. Join us for a new unique experience service.

Project Btown Summer Camps

Middle School Week: June 13-18
High School Week: July 25-30

Woodland has been doing Project B-Town for over 12 years now!  Each year we try to make this as much of a “camp experience” as we can, giving the students the opportunity to see the importance of service, having fun, and growing spiritually all in one week.

In our Student Ministry, we have the important task of “Helping Students Take The Next Step in Their Story with God.” This is the goal for Project B-town.

We believe that each students is at a specific place, in their Walk with God. This includes students who don’t know Him yet, students who have come to church but do not understand what a relationship with Jesus looks like yet, or students that are looking to grow deeper in their Walk with Him.  Our goal is to help each of these students take the next step in their Spiritual Journey with Him. Visit our website for more info!

Join us on the LINK journey to discover what we believe, why we believe it, and how to show the world, with Woodland. Our First Step is a Meet N Greet, so we can get to know you, and you can get to know us!
Our Woodland Culture says: YOU MATTER.
You will hear us say this at Woodland. YOU MATTER because you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God, the Creator of the Universe. You not only matter to God but YOU MATTER to us! We know that everyone has a story. The beauty of the gospel is that no matter what a person's life story is, Jesus has come to redeem it and give it another ending. That's why we proclaim that we will never stop telling our stories about what we have seen and heard. We are made up of very real people, from real situations in life, and together we are united for worship, discipleship, and service.

Our Woodland Culture says: EVERY DAY MATTERS.

Each day is unique and a time to experience and show God's love. Our Campus is called to provide a complete experience Monday thru Sunday. The Lord is in our daily walk and he determines our footsteps, and in all of it, EVERY DAY, we give God glory. So no matter what you do each day: work, play, worship, pray - do it with intentionality! God is in all of it and can be found in it every day.
That's what EVERY DAY MATTERS means to us.
