It's time to Go.

2023 Woodland Mission trips

Navajo Nation

Thank you!

Dear Faithful Friends and Family,
The 2023 Navajo Nation team wants to thank you from the
bottom of our hearts for your generous donations and prayers. This
team of individuals that God called to the mission field in the Navajo
Nation feels so grateful for how faithful our friends, family & church
members were in donating above and beyond our $30,000 goal. Each
of us was so touched by your generosity and love towards our
Heavenly Father and HIS mission. The 2023 mission team consisted of
14 God loving servants, 9 of which went last year, along with 5 new
team members. We were made up of all ages, backgrounds, expertise
and spiritual gifts. Only the Holy Spirit could put together a team like
this! We look forward to another trip soon.

In HIS name,
2023 Woodland Navajo Nation Mission Team

We are Planning Our Next Trip!

Date: TBD 2023
Who: Adults & Kids
Cost: $1500/person
Leadership: Daniel Elias, Ron Schmidt & Glenn McIntyre

WE'RE GOING BACK TO NAVAJO NATION! To spread the love and hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in
the Navajo Nation. We will do through supporting the ministry of Across Nations through the continue rebuilding a house to host Missions Groups for Across Nations Ministry. This year, we would like to expand the ministry to the children of Hilltop Christian School and do a couple of outreach events to the Youth, after hours. Across Nations is advancing the legacy of Western Indian Ministries by equipping Native America to exalt Jesus, encounter His goodness and extend His kingdom.

The Encounter Program is designed to help you:
• encounter Christ through service
• encounter Culture to learn what makes the Dine’ unique and beautiful people
• encounter Missions that could change your life

This week-long service project is designed to benefit the mission, aid the local church, grow the individual participant and impact the community we serve. This takes commitment by all who are involved. The bulk of Encounter work will involve some type of construction, maintenance, or other type of project. Some ministry work may be done, but keep in mind that we are there only to help the local church where they cannot do it by themselves–not to do it for them.

Join us in Africa, at the Fiwagoh Mission Orphanage as we serve  285 children and staff.  Our time in Africa will include partnering with Pastor Benson, his wife and their staff to provide day to day assistance around the orphanage. We would love for our team of 12,  from the states,  to include professional adults in the dental, vision and medical field.   The kids at the orphanage LOVE spending time with us, so there is a lot of time spent building relationships with the kids through hiking and nature walks, organized games and activities, including small group time with them prior to bedtime.

If you are flexible and willing to spend a concentrated amount of time investing in the lives of some of the most amazing children, please consider joining us to serve.  While this team has room for teens through adults, it is preferred that each teen is partnered with a parent or guardian.  Health care professionals that are interested in serving, once you declare your interest, we will work in advance to set up screenings, and seek an advance list of health concerns that may be present so that we are as prepared as possible for making the biggest impact possible.
Initial registration will be open soon. Keep your eyes peeled for that! Team planning and gathering won't begin until early 2022. For more information or to ask questions, please contact Michelle Lingle at
