Connor and Jess are newly weds who have been at Woodland for the past 5 years! Small groups is one of our favorite parts of Woodland. We love being able to connect with students on a personal level. We are both are previous soccer players, and are huge Tampa Bay Lighting fans. On a typical day you can find us at the beach where Jessica is enjoying herself, while Connor sits there getting burned. We can't wait for you to be apart of our Small Group!

“Austin is so excited to be a part of the Woodland team! He recently moved to Bradenton from Orlando after finishing up two years of full-time ministry with Impulse Ministries at UCF. Austin studied Biomedical Sciences at UCF, but is a lover of reading, writing, and of course… worship. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and loves going on fancy dinner dates.

Jill has been involved in woodland’s youth behind the scenes and is excited to lead her own small group! She has a bachelors in education and taught elementary for many years. She is a realtor at Keller Williams and loves to spend her free time; reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her children (Luke, Sydney, and Katie). I have seen how this youth group moves in the students and can’t wait to be part of this revolution!

Hi I’m Annika! I’ve been a small group leader for woodland just over 2 years now and I’m
excited to be a small group leader this upcoming year! I’m a full time physical therapist when I’m not at Woodland, and i absolutely love helping people physically and mentally. I’m from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and yes I am a cheese head. I am passionate about many things which include Jesus (of course), dancing, exercising, water skiing, hiking, and many other outdoor activities! Hope to see you this coming year!

Hello Keith here. I'm excited for this years small groups where this will be my fifth year serving. I am from Bradenton and went to Braden river high school. I enjoy sports, music, poetry and Spanish. I'm excited for this year to come and stoked to jump into Gods word together!

Hi! We're Savannah & Jovanny!
Savannah: I am from Bradenton Florida and have been a part of the woodland family since I was a kid. I am super passionate about worship and youth ministry, as it has allowed me to watch God move through so many people, even at a young age. I also love the beach, long-boarding, my preschool class, and my awesome family. I am stoked for small groups this year and to see everything that God will do through them.
Jovanny: Hey! Serving God and His people has been a lifelong passion of mine. This being my second year serving in  Woodlands High School Ministry I am
excited to continue connecting with students who are hungry for God's word and helping
each other grow in wisdom and love. I love all things Jesus and music.

Hey! We're Joe Pisani and Jennifer Barker!
Joe Pisani: I was born in New York City and grew up just outside the city on Long Island. After high school I went to college in Daytona Beach. I have lived in Bradenton for six years now. I love baseball, planes and riding my bike and going to the mountains. I am married and have three kids.
Jennifer Barker: I was born in Detroit, Michigan and graduated from Eastern Michigan University.  I am the mother of 2 beautiful teenage girls.  Being a High School leader these past 2 years has been rewarding!   It’s great to see them grow in their walk with the Lord.  I enjoy working out, baking and reading a good book.   I look forward to what God is going to do in small group this year.

LOCATION: SCHULTZ'S HOME

We are Jordan & Savannah Schultz and we have been High School small group leaders for the past few years. Our goal is to create an open and safe environment for youth to grow in their faith alongside other like-minded young adults. We want to raise up high schoolers to be strong in their faith. Students who aren’t afraid to share their faith with their friends, in their schools, at their jobs or wherever God brings them. We meet at our house on Tuesday nights from 7-9pm. A light dinner is provided every night, followed by games and a discussion time. We hope to have you join us!

Hey! We're Cameron & Sydney!
Sydney is looking forward to a really exciting year at Woodland. She graduated from Florida
Atlantic University in May of 2021 and decided to move home to Bradenton for a while where
she previously attended Lakewood Ranch High School for two years. Sydney is always looking
for opportunities to meet and connect with new people as she knows how it feels to be the
“new girl”. She loves protecting the environment, cheer, anything fitness related, and has a degree in sociology from FAU. She looks forward to seeing returning faces as well as welcoming new ones into our church family here at Woodland!
Cameron is a Bradenton local. He grew up on the water, fishing, surfing - anything and
everything outdoors. After moving away for school, he made his way back and has been living here for last 3 years. He’s got a huge heart for international missions, niche music, and is a lover of the simple things in life. He’s always pumped to just chill or attempt to unpack life’s big “Why” questions. Cameron’s really excited about Youth as it’s the setting he first encounter Jesus in a radical way.

Our vision statement is "Helping Students Take the Next Step in Their Story with God." We believe that every student has the opportunity to be a part of the story God is writing in the world through a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
