Welcome to woodland kidz!

Newborn - 5th grade

Our desire is to help kids grow up to be like Jesus and to understand that every day is a great day to love God, love people, and do something about it.
With that desire, we believe church should be a place where children:

Grow in their faith

Connect with Leaders & Friends

Serve others

Have fun in a safe enviroment

Dedication & Baptism

Dedication

Through the year we offer special Dedication Sundays. Those Sundays are an amazing opportunity to have your child dedicated during one of our services. Child dedication is the act of coming before the church and declaring that you will raise your son or daughter in the ways of the Lord. Any age child can be dedicated. Before the service on dedication Sunday, we will have a time of connecting and growing for you and your little one. For more information about having your child dedicated please use the form below.

Baptism

Water baptism declares publicly what has happened privately

If children have expressed interest in getting baptized or have made a decision to trust Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage them to sign up for an upcoming Child Baptism Class. During the 45-minute class children and their parent(s) hear what it means to be a Christian as well as what Baptism is and looks like. The class in offered virtually and in-person. If you feel that your child is ready to take the next faith step by being baptized, please sign up through the link below.

Safety

The safety of our children is of upmost priority at Woodland. All adults serving are background-checked, screened, and trained. Each adult serving is identified with a yellow lanyard. We have a two-adult minimum for all classrooms.

Security

Computer-generated sticker name tags identify adults authorized to pick up children. The entrance to our children’s areas are secured 20 minutes after services start and opened 10 minutes prior to the close of the service.

Cleanliness

All classrooms are cleaned and sanitized prior to the arrival of children as well as between services. If a volunteer or a child has had any symptoms of illness within the last 24 hours that person is not allowed to serve or attend. All items in each classroom are sanitized and washed as needed. Disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizers are located in each classroom and around the area.
