Middle School/High School Youth

Volunteers needed!

School is back in session, and so is our Youth ministry! We're gearing up for a great year with Middle School Youth on Wednesdays (6–8pm) and High School Youth on Sundays (6–8pm) — and we need your help to make it happen.

We're looking for 6 Small Group Leaders and Musicians & Vocalists for both evenings, plus a Food Prep Team for Sunday nights. More details are on the website — email sammy@gowoodland.com to get connected and start serving.

Urgent Volunteer Needs

Kidz Sunday & Wednesday ministry

We are in need of 6 adult volunteers Sunday morning 8:30-10:30 and 10:30-12:15 and Wednesday evenings Adventure Club 5:30-7:45pm to energetically engage elementary-aged children.

Today!

Careportal Training

August 30 at 12:30pm

We will be having a Careportal Training so that our attendees can go into the community and bring needed items and the love of Jesus.  Training at 12:30pm, lunch provided.

September 12 at 4pm

We will host a followup connection with our Day4Hope families from 4-6pm in the gym.  If you were an ambassador please reach out to connect again with your families.

2027 Mission events to be announced in September

We are prayerfully considering where the Lord is calling Woodland Community Church to serve in 2027. Please join us as we pray for all of the mission groups that served in 2026, that those persons continue to serve our community out of the fire ignited in Costa Rica and Navajo.  Pray for the missionaries in those areas who are growing their communities for the Kingdom, as well as for every mission trip ever taken (Miami, Cuba, Honduras, Haiti, Kenya, and more). We pray that the seeds Woodland Community Church has planted historically and globally,  continue to be watered and grow!

Prayer

Lord, we come before you today, thankful for your mercies, which are new and fresh every day.  We thank you for your provision for those you brought here today. We know everyone is here for a purpose that You have knit into each of us from birth. Lord, please let us be BOLD as we step out in faith as a community to disciple those within Woodland and those outside our doors that need Your Saving Grace.  
In Your Precious Name we pray, that none shall perish, Amen

Stacy and her husband Scott moved to Florida from the mid-west in 1997. They have 5 children and began attending Woodland in 2008.  They serve Woodland in various ministries including the Homeless Ministries, Woodland Fine Arts Academy, Students, Kids, Prayer Group, Adult Small Groups and Parenting Groups.

Stacy has a great love for the local church and its people. She is dedicated to helping people find purpose and community within Woodland, and is excited about our Impact Team Volunteers. Stacy coordinates teams all over the campus and organizing where people serve.
