Urgent Volunteer Needs

Kidz Wednesday ministry

We are in need of adult volunteers Wednesday evenings to energetically engage elementary-aged children in our Adventure Club Program. Three rotations-Bible Lesson, Application Activity, and Recreation.  Which one are you gifted in? 5:30-7:30pm

Student Youth Groups

School has kicked off!  We will be engaging Middle School Youth on campus each Wednesday as well as High School Youth every Sunday evening beginning in August.
We are in need of small group leaders for both evenings and food prep/donation teams for Sunday night.

Here is a detailed look at our upcoming schedule:

Careportal Training

August 30 at 12:30pm

We will be having a Careportal Training so that our attendees can go into the community and bring needed items and the love of Jesus.  Training at 12:30pm, lunch provided.

Pictures & Pizza

September 12 at 4pm

We will host a followup connection with our Day4Hope families from 4-6pm in the gym.  If you were an ambassador please reach out to connect again with your families.

Ghana Mission Trip

We are excited to have this opportunity to serve global missions in Ghana.  
However, this mission trip has been POSTPONED UNTIL SPRING. We are waiting to concrete dates with our host team.
We will be hosting a pastors conference, medical missions, education, evangelism, and more.
We hope to have the opportunity to repair wells that have not been used and to partner with our Local Missions (Hope Seeds to bring sustainable nutrition).
The cost will be approximately $3,500 and fundraising is possible.

Prayer

Please be praying for each of our local missions and those in our close proximity that are in need of the saving grace of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  There are children, families, and individuals every day that we can impact with the love of Christ. Lord spotlight those you want each of us to see, to engage in conversation, to assist, to do whatever, You Lord, call us to be in Your name. We pray for leaders and disciple makers to rise up at Woodland.

Stacy and her husband Scott moved to Florida from the mid-west in 1997. They have 5 children and began attending Woodland in 2008.  They serve Woodland in various ministries including the Homeless Ministries, Woodland Fine Arts Academy, Students, Kids, Prayer Group, Adult Small Groups and Parenting Groups.

Stacy has a great love for the local church and its people. She is dedicated to helping people find purpose and community within Woodland, and is excited about our Impact Team Volunteers. Stacy coordinates teams all over the campus and organizing where people serve.
