Woodland Food Pantry
"This institution is an equal opportunity employer and provider."

Woodland's On-Campus Food Pantry exists to positively influence the world for the good of His kingdom, by giving sustenance and unconditional love to the needy, lost, and seeking. Also, to provide our volunteers with a purpose and a place to experience the blessings of being a blessing to others. We aim not just to meet physical needs, but spiritual needs as well by sharing the gospel through prayer and fellowship, during the time we spend with them.

To get involved, contact Tamia Mills by email woodlandfoodpantry@gmail.com or contact our Volunteer Coordinator Stacy Kolbe stacy@gowoodland.com to get started

The Umbrella Women - Woodland's Homeless Outreach

The Umbrella Women are a group of people based out of Woodland Community Church whose primary mission is to serve the homeless. We gather once a month in the kitchen to put together the meal God has provided for us to give.  We then load up the truck and hit the streets.  We are geared up to deliver prayers, hugs, bikes, clothes, and UMBRELLAS for those that live out on the streets.  Each umbrella has the Bible verse Jeremiah 29:11 printed on the inside of it.  So when the person that receives it opens it up, they are covered in God's love and grace through His words.

If you would like to join our group we would love to have you!  Either come join us for the fun in the kitchen or out on the street delivering - we welcome all.

Prison Ministry and Mentorship Program
(CURRENTLY SEARCHING FOR A LEADER)

Woodland's Prison Ministry and Mentorship program has operated through various correctional institutions throughout the State of Florida for over twenty years. We work towards not only evenagelizing those who are incarcerated with The Gospel but also offer mentorship and financial support for qualified candidates towards release transition. We visit inmates on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Manatee Correction Facility from 7:00pm - 9:00pm and provide additional mentorship throughout the week for released individuals. If you feel called and have a heart of compassion and dedication, we would love for you to contact us. You can reach us at jenny@gowoodland.com

Woodland Wheels Ministry

Woodland Wheels is a new initiative to help provide bicycles to homeless individuals in our downtown community and is a partnership with Downtown Ministries. Downtown Ministries takes donated bikes and gets them in working order to provide much needed transportation to those without. These donated bikes provide the opportunity for homeless individuals to gain employment, make medical appointments, judicial appointments, find affordable housing  and other needed services and resources.
