Tomorrow is the start of another school year for our Woodland Academy. As a ministry of this Church, I am excited for the opportunities we will have to bring hope and the love of Christ to families this school year. One of my goals for our Church this year is to create intentional ministry opportunities that build relationships with academy families and draw them into the presence of God. To accomplish this goal, our new Ministry Teams will be tasked with creating those opportunities, ranging from fellowship events to providing care in a time of need. There are over 700 students enrolled in our Woodland Academy this year. As the Church, we have a responsibility to minister to these families. Join me in praying for our Woodland Academy and the start of our Ministry Teams. If you would like to help accomplish this goal, I invite you to join one of our Ministry Teams. We will be sharing more information about the teams and how to sign up during our services over the next few weeks, as well as through the church’s social media and e-news. Please stay tuned for these updates.

On Sunday, August 30, come and be a part of what the Lord has in store for the future at Woodland. First we will meet on official church business. Hear from the Committees and learn how the Lord continues to work in our church. Then, we will have a time of worship led by our Young Adults Ministry. Anyone can attend, members may vote.
