LIVE IT OUT

EVERY
DAY
MATTERS

What is live it out

A good life requires a good rhythm—a pattern of movement regularly repeated over time.
As Christians, our whole life, no matter when or in what context, consists of loving God and loving others—just like Jesus did.
By holistically understanding the rhythm of the Christian life, we move from surface living into the depths of life—from splashing around in the shallows with our floaties on to going out twenty thousand leagues under the sea.
LIVE IT OUT is a simple four step "rhythm" to commit to in order to develop and maintain a fully devoted life to Christ.
Below are some informative steps and helpful resources to get you started!

STep 1. CHOOSE YOUR WORSHIP EXPERIENCE

SUNDAY

9:00am

Our Blended service invites you to worship God through different styles of music from the wide range of the Christian repertoire prescribed in the Bible as "Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs."  Our primary focus is the content of the songs, considering more what we say than how we say it.  This service is led by a Praise Team and Choir and is accompanied by a typical worship band and piano along with occasional use of strings and brass instruments.

SUNDAY

10:55am

Our Modern service creates an energetic and revitalizing atmosphere of worship for anyone and everyone! As a ministry, our team of worship leaders brings their passion and spirit of worship to create an uplifting environment of music, artistic elements and scripture that resonates with people right where they are.

Step 2. Choose Your Small Group

COMMUNITY GROUP

Longer-Term Life Groups
Community Groups are an essential part of life at Woodland. We all need a smaller group of friends with whom we can share our lives. For that reason our goal is to connect every person at Woodland with a Community Group where they can build those deep relationships. These groups are small gatherings generally 6 - 15 people that meet weekly.

GROW GROUP

Short-Term Topical Studies
Grow Groups are short-term topical studies, and help you make new friends, be involved, and grow deeper in your relationship with God. These groups cover a wide variety of interests and studies.

ACTIVITY GROUP

Hobby Groups
Activity Groups are for those that enjoy fellowship, making new friends, and participating in a certain hobby, sport or activity with other Christians. You are welcome to join these groups at any time as there is not a set study or agenda.

PARENTLIFE

Parenting Growth Track
At Woodland, we believe in parents and that Every Parent Matters. We also believe in the power of the combined influence of the church and the family; that when we partner together, we can do more together. With these beliefs in mind, we have created ParentLife at Woodland. Designed for all parents, regardless of phase. We seek to cultivate a culture of practical content and conversations to help every parent be a better parent. Because when we help parents win, we all win. After all...
• No one is full of more false hope than a parent who brings a book to the beach...
• If you don't have a secret stash of snacks somewhere, are you even a parent?
• And our favorite...parenting is like folding a fitted sheet. No one really knows how to do it.

Hurting people need Christians in their community to reach out and demonstrate the love of Christ. Here are some examples to get your ideas going!
  • Work in a soup kitchen, food bank, rescue mission or homeless shelter.
  • Adopt a military family, especially when a spouse is deployed.
  • Volunteer to help build a Habitat for Humanity home
  • Adopt a local fire or police station, and take them dessert once a week or month.
  • Schedule a regular “date night” or "girls night" to serve together in a local nursing home (singing, doing crafts, teaching a Bible study, etc.), or visit kids in the hospital.

GIVE FINANCIALLY

4 Ways To Give

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.
What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
