God Is Already at Work: Learning to Recognize and Join His Activity

What does it truly mean to experience God, not just know about Him, not just attend services or go through the motions, but genuinely encounter the living God in a way that changes everything? That is the question at the heart of this powerful message, and the answer might surprise us. Drawing from the story in John 5 of a man who had been lying beside a pool for 38 years, we are confronted with a striking truth: the man was so focused on the pool, the place he believed God would eventually work, that he nearly missed God standing right in front of him. How often do we do the same thing? We fix our eyes on the circumstances we think God needs to change, the process we believe He has to follow, the conditions that have to be met, and in doing so we miss what He is already doing right beside us.
