Rock solid truth in a world of shifting sands
Adventure is out there at Breaker Rock Beach! Hear the waves crashing against the shore or
smell the smoke of a distance bonfire! Catch a glimpse of an orca leaping through the surf or
watch sea lions playing among the rocks beneath the magnificent pines. Race along the sand
with brightly colored kites, join friends to make an amazing sandcastle, or gaze in wonder at the
mysteries found in a tide pool. As the tides ebb and flow, Breaker Rock rises majestically as a
symbol of strength, standing firm against the force of wind and waves.
During this week’s adventure at Breaker Rock Beach, kids will learn to recognize the difference
between what the world says is true and what God says is true. In Sandcastle Cove, they’ll
encounter four everyday sayings that sound right, but dangerously miss the truth found in
God’s Word. Each day kids will experience Tidal Pool Art, Bonfire Missions, Orca Music, and Ship
Recreation to reinforce the day’s truth. At the end of this adventure, they will discover that God
does not want them to be conformed to this age, but to be transformed by the renewing of
their minds so that they can discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans
12:2).

After the program, join us in our park for a bonfire beach party! At the party, we will have beach volleyball, a bonfire, and FREE Kona Ice for everyone!

It is that time of year once again to say Y-E-S to V-B-S!
For VBS to be successfully, we need YOU. We need both adults and youth who can be Jesus to
the kids that will attend. Adventure is out there during VBS 2024 and this adventure needs
guides! Would you consider joining us as a leader, guiding the kids to God’s truth? We have a
variety of positions for this year’s VBS ranging from group leader, specific rotation leader, to
help with prep week. All these positions are key in making VBS better than last year! We need
150 leaders to serve at this year’s VBS. Sign up for the specific position you are interested in.
